My name is Lloyd Brodersen and along with my wife Jo Anne, daughter Falyn,and son Ryan, we make up Tristar. I was raised near Halkirk , AB. and early on became interested in the Hereford cattle business. I bought my first cows in the fall of 1974 and for many years.
In the fall of 1996, after my mentor Mr.Art Link passed away, we purchased his entire herd of females . The pedigrees from these cattle are very old but proven genetics. Some of the pedigrees go back to Wetmore Mixer 4 in the five generation pedigree. These old pedigrees were way ahead of their time. The last twenty-five years we have been adding to the cow herd using the best bulls we could find.
